ABOUT ME
Prima di ogni cosa arrivò il desiderio e il bisogno di viaggiare, instancabile come l'energia che si percepisce prima di quella che tu sai sarà un'intensa camminata. Per me il viaggio non coincide con una fuga, è nutrimento per il mio corpo e la mia anima.
E con gli anni fotografare è diventato per me il naturale e semplice prolungamento di questo viaggiare, la parte mancante di una fusione con ciò che si muove intorno a me, si tratti di presenze umane o naturali.
Sono nata nel 1989 e fu in un'isola remota dell'Indonesia che, prima di muovere i primi passi su questa Terra, si gettarono le basi del mio vagabondare.
Natura, uomini, donne e bambini è ciò che da sempre ha attirato il mio sguardo: all'interno delle diverse raccolte troverete una selezione dei miei migliori scatti, oltre a progetti di foto-racconto in cui le parole diventano la voce delle immagini.
First of all, there came the longing for travelling, incessant as it may be the kind of energy that is produced by an intense walk. Travelling for me is not an escape, but the sheer nourishment for my body and my soul
Then, as time went by, it was taking pictures which came along with travelling, as the natural missing piece to complete the fusion between myself and the world around me.
I was born in Ravenna in 1989, and in a remote island of Indonesia I started my very first wanderings and the starting point in forming my outlook of the world.
The shots yhat I have selected from my collections show what has always attracted me: nature, men, women and children, and they are present in the photo-tale projects as well, where the words become the voices of the images
